This is what I am looking to do, first; I want to set up local meetings (-but I a was also thinking video/cyber meetings would be good also) where others who feel the need for support or merely an outlet can get together and talk things out. I don't want this to be the typical "12-step program" with people sitting around in a circle sharing what they had to eat. I want to be able to try and come up with ideas on how to beat this disorder. So, I want to set aside a meal planning time. I want to maybe set a date to work out with someone else from the group, I want to swap recipes and eventually get to the point where if they are standing in line at the grocery store and they are struggling with the decision to buy the whole " Death by chocolate" chocolate gnash, or the entire Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting-that they will settle for the Monster slice of New York strawberry cheesecake and come slit it with me. Do not get me wrong I also want to talk about this, get to the root of some of the issues-perhaps once some of the core issues can be seen and stress levels reduced-this project may prove to be even more beneficial than I could anticipate.
With that said, my next plan is to find the best time to have my first meeting.
